FINCA conducted training for schoolchildren in the frame of GMW

Under the Global Money Week activities Khujand Branch of MDO FINCA conducted training on the basics of Financial Literacy for the schoolchildren of the private school “Ganch”.
It should be noted that there was a great interest and desire to make active use of financial products among schoolchildren. Participants were particularly interested in deposit products – as a way of accumulating for certain purposes.
Despite the young age, schoolchildren actively discussed the role of commercial banks, their products and services, as well as ways to plan the family budget. It is encouraging that the school management sees the need of improving the level of financial literacy of the population and interested in conducting similar events for their schoolchildren.
FINCA Tajikistan supports GMW for the third year and takes part in improving the level of financial awareness among youth. Within the framework of the events, FINCA conducts trainings for schoolchildren, students and youth, who are just starting their professional activities.
