FINCA is an acronym for the Foundation for International Community Assistance. The organization’s roots are in the the Latin American agriculture sector.

FINCA International started operations in Tajikistan in 2003 and launched FINCA Tajikistan programm.

Microfinance is the provision of financial services to poor or low-income people on terms that they can afford. It is a means of promoting financial inclusion.

FINCA Tajikistan has different range of financial products for enterpreneurs of Tajikistan. It includes Individual and Group Loans, Agricultural Loans, SME Loans, Express Loans. Also, FINCA Tajikistan offers different deposit products: Savings, Accumulative Deposit, Profitable Deposit. As addition, FINCA Tajikistan provides money transfer operations through different MT Operators (Western Union, Contact, Zolotaya Korona, UniStream) and FX Operations. FINCA Tajikistan works to extend number of financial products to provide, for different segments of clients.

FINCA Tajikistan operates in Tajikistan for more than 11 years. And now, more than 30 000 of small enterpreneurs of Tajikistan became an active clients of FINCA Tajikistan.

FINCA is funded through donations, social investment and loans.

Donated funding comes from a variety of sources, including U.S. and international governmental development agencies, private foundations, corporations, service and religious organizations, and individual donors.

Investment funding from FINCA Microfinance Holding Company LLC (FMH) is funded by socially-responsible investors including International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group; KfW, the German development bank; FMO, the Dutch development bank; Triple Jump, a Netherlands-based microfinance investment firm, and Triodos Investment Management, owned by Triodos Bank. FINCA International, Inc. is the majority shareholder.
